The truth that we knew
Somehow never got through
It was kept out of view
When all false was deemed true
Our prospects few
Our choices too
All we can do is

It all seemed so new
Facts way misconstrued
Never to grow
Nothing but false bravado
Obscure and confuse
So that we’ll never know
So what they say is so
That’s the way that it goes

boo hoo boo hoo boo hoo
Oh my what to do
When the false flies on through
but leap through the air
Sort out the flagrant from the fair
Restore the truth
to reach our inner core
Play the moral troubadour
Or the lies we must endure
Boo hoo
